2024 Suzuki Access 125 spotted road testing, all new model?

The Suzuki Access 125 has been on the market for quite some time now. It is even due for an update. Recently, camouflaged versions of the upcoming scooter have been spotted in the outskirts of Gurugram. These images should give us some idea of what we can expect from the updated Access 125.

Suzuki Access 125 – Spy Shots

A first look at the spy shots and we can say that the overall design and body panels are pretty much the same as the current scooter. The alloys look the same too. The headlight however gets a twin-buld LED setup which is new. The taillight looks heavily camouflaged and we can’t make out if there is any design change. However, one picture revealed that the scooter gets a hazard function.

Features

The upcoming Access 125 is also expected to get a new instrument console. This will also be equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and SMS plus call alert functions. The exhaust also can be seen with a chrome cover. We could also see that there is a silver grab rail for the pillion. The mirrors too appear to be similar to the current scooter.

Engine and Hardware

The spy shots have made it quite clear that the 2024 Suzuki Access 125 will be a facelift and not a generation change. This means that the engine and performance are likely to remain unchanged. Like the current one, the 2024 Access 125 will get the tested 125 cc air-cooled motor that makes 8.6 bhp and 10 Nm of torque. Suzuki might tinker with the tuning to make the performance feel different. The Access has a claimed top speed of 92 kmph and boasts of 64 kmpl fuel efficiency.

In terms of hardware too, the Access will get 12-inch alloys with disc brakes at the front. It will also get Suzuki’s combi-brake system. The suspension duties are performed by two forks at the front and a dual-shock at the rear.

The spied scooters look production ready and we should hear about their launch from Suzuki soon. The price might be higher by INR 3,000 to 5,000 than the current model.
