Land Rover has introduced the new Range Rover Evoque in India with a starting price of ₹67.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The luxury SUV features a refreshed design, new features, and two engine options.
Range Rover Evoque – All the Changes
The 2024 Range Rover Evoque retains its coupe-like silhouette, floating roof, continuous waistline, and flush door handles, while also getting the new family grille design. The SUV gets slim headlamps and new DRLs. It also offers two new color options – Corinthian Bronze and Tribeca Blue.
The interior of the new Evoque has been updated with an 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen infotainment system, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SUV also comes with dual-zone climate control, heated and cooled front seats, wireless charging, a cabin air purifier, a panoramic sunroof, and a 3D surround camera system. For the first time, the Evoque gets an inbuilt Air Purifier system that features a PM2.5 filter and CO2 management.
The new Evoque is available in the Dynamic SE trim, with a choice of petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine is a 2.0-litre unit that produces 247 bhp and 365 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine is a 2.0-litre unit that generates 201 bhp and 430 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and a 48V mild-hybrid system. The hybrid system helps power the idle start-stop functionality of the new SUV. The Evoque also gets Eco, Comfort, Grass-Gravel-Snow, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Dynamic and Automatic driving modes. Each alters the calibration of the engine, transmission, all-wheel drive system, suspension, and stability control systems for optimum traction and power delivery.
The new Range Rover Evoque competes with the likes of BMW X3, Audi Q5, and Mercedes-Benz GLC in the Indian market. The SUV is expected to attract customers who are looking for a stylish, sophisticated, and feature-rich luxury vehicle.
