Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2024 new Swift in the Indian market at the price of INR 6.49 lakh ex-showroom. The hatchback comes with five trim options and two gearbox options. However, the brand will only offer a single petrol engine options with the new Swift. Compared to the outgoing model the new Swift starts around INR 25,000 premium. However, the brand also offers plenty of new updates and safety features as standard.

The new Maruti Suzuki Swift comes with the same familiar silhouette. The design on the new car is quite similar to the outgoing car. But upon close inspection you would notice that the new Swift come with a new clamshell bonnet design, new headlamps and taillamps as well as new bumpers. The car also gets a new radiator grille as well as new alloy wheel design and a conventional rear door handle. In addition to this, the new Swift is also 15mm longer, 40mm narrower and 30mm taller than the outgoing model but the wheelbase remains unchanged.
On the inside, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift features a larger 9-inch infotainment touchscreen infotainment system. The car also comes with a 4.2-inch digital MID and new fabric on the seats. Features include an automatic climate control, steering mounted controls, cruise control, power ORVMs, push button start/stop, rear camera, etc. Safety kit also includes 6-airbags as standard, ear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, and ESC as well as ISOFIX seats. The Swift also comes with Hill Start Assist with AMT models.
Powering the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift is a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 82 PS of power and 112 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options. The engine also claims to return a fuel efficiency of 24.8 kmpl to 25.75 kmpl.
