2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire facelift full leaked before launch

Ahead of its official launch on November 11, 2024, the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire facelift has been fully leaked, revealing a host of updates and new features. The new Dzire is set to compete with sub-4 metre sedans like the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and Honda Amaze.

Design and Exterior Updates

The 2024 Dzire features a completely redesigned front fascia with a single-slate chrome grille and repositioned fog lamps. The LED headlamps are sleeker, and the tail lamps now sport a tri-arrow pattern. The new alloy wheels add a fresh touch to the overall look. The exterior design borrows elements from the recently launched Swift, giving the Dzire a more modern and aggressive appearance.

Interior Enhancements

Inside, the Dzire gets a revamped cabin with a new nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an electric sunroof, and a 360-degree camera. The dual-tone theme adds a premium feel to the interior, and the floating touchscreen infotainment system is a standout feature. The cabin layout remains similar to the Swift, but with a different color scheme.

Performance and Engine

The 2024 Dzire will be powered by the Swift’s 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine, producing 80 horsepower and 111.7 Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit. This setup ensures a balance of performance and fuel efficiency, making the Dzire an attractive option for buyers.

Safety and Technology

Safety features on the new Dzire include six airbags, ABS with EBD, and a hill-hold assist. The car also gets a head-up display and a wireless phone charger, adding to its tech-savvy appeal. The inclusion of a 360-degree camera is a segment-first feature, enhancing parking and maneuvering ease.

Market Impact and Pricing

The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected to be priced competitively, starting from around INR 6.70 lakh (ex-showroom). It will go up against the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze and the Tata Tigor once launched.
