Mahindra has launched the new XUV 3XO in the Indian market with a starting price tag of INR 7.49 lakh ex-showroom. The segment disrupting price tag of the XUV 3XO sets new benchmarks in the compact SUV segment. But make no mistake, the low price tag does not mean that the Mahindra XUV 3XO lacks on performance or features. In fact, Mahindra claims that the XUV 3XO excels in most of the features including safety, creature comfort, space as well as the powertrain compared to other cars in the segment.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO comes with a quirky design language that is not only good to look but also incorporates top-tier safety. The SUV gets an athletic silehoute and features a piano black finish on the grille and LED headlamps. The SUV also gets a wide stance from the rear thanks to the connected LED taillamps. On the inside, Mahindra offers leatherette interiors with an ivory theme. The car also gets leather accents on the steering wheel, gear knob, and front armrest.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO also comes with a smart design. The SUV offers a best-in-class forward visibility of 23.7-degree thanks to its command seating position. The drive also gets a visibility of 1398 mm above the ground thanks to its design. The SUV not only claims to get the large wheel arches but also the largest tyre outside diameter (OD) in its class.
By using high-strength steel in major portions and 35 standard safety features the XUV 3XO gets the highest B-NCAP safety rating. In addition to this, the SUV also comes with a 360-degree surround view system as well as Level2 ADAS. Safety features also include 6 airbags, 4 disc brakes, 3-point seat belts and seat-belt reminder for all seats.
Powering the XUV 3XO are two engine options – mStallion TGDi petrol engine and a Turbo Diesel engine. The turbo petrol motor produces 130 PS of power and 230 Nm of torque. The diesel engine produces 117 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque.
