Mahindra is launching the new Thar Roxx, the 5-door version of the Thar lifestyle SUV in the Indian market. Recently, the brand teased the exterior and interior features of the Thar Roxx along with its exterior design. Now the brand has also revealed that the Thar Roxx will come with a White and Black colour way. However, we speculate that the SUV will not be limited to this, but come with plenty of colour options to choose from. Expect the brand to reveal all the colours of the Thar Roxx tomorrow at the time of its launch.
In addition to the new colours, the Thar Roxx also gets a number of differentiating factors compared to the standard Thar. The most obvious is the two extra doors which will enable easy ingress and egress to the rear passengers. Furthermore, the Thar Roxx will also come with a spacious boot capable of carrying luggage of 4 to 5 passengers. Also, the rear doors of the Thar Roxx will come with C-pillar mounted door handles.
The Thar Roxx also comes with a new front fascia but carries over the timeless design language. The grille on the new Thar Roxx features a more premium look rather than the rugged grille as seen on the Thar 3-door. The SUV also comes with new headlamps which appear to be of the LED projector type and bumper integrated fog lamps. The taillamp design has also been revamped to give the Thar Roxx a distinguishing rear light signature.
In addition to the new exteriors, the Thar Roxx also comes with new interiors and features such as a dual pane panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control AC, rear AC vents, Ventilated front seats, as well as safety features such as multiple airbags and Level2 ADAS.
