2024 KTM 390 Duke details revealed in new spy picture

KTM’s new-generation 390 Duke naked street fighter motorcycle has been ready for a while, but is yet to make a debut globally. The bike has now been spotted in its production ready avatar for the first time, revealed some very important details which will allow this bike to stay ahead of its competitors.

2024 KTM 390 Duke Features

As seen in the spy picture, the new-generation 2023 KTM 390 Duke will come in a new blue+grey+orange paint scheme. The KTM signature orange shade is seen on the chassis, some parts of the body panel and on the wheels. The blue shade is seen on the tank shrouds while the fuel tank seems to be in a grey shade. The parts & designs look completely new.

At the front, we expect an all-new LED headlamp unit with a new signature LED DRL design with LED turn indicators. The bike will get a new design full coloured digital speedometer cluster with bluetooth connectivity. The alloy wheel design also looks new with a new disc brake with the ABS pulsar ring now smaller than before. Even the seat design looks different and the rear monoshock seems to be offset mounted.

Look closely, and the engine casing is new too. The exhaust header is new, and the radiator cowl is also different. The coolant box is placed on the right, just below the tank. The biggest highlight though is the WP Apex USD suspension which has a red coloured attachment on top, hinting that this would be a fully adjustable unit. The handlebar switch gear also appears to be new.

KTM 390 Duke Engine

Currently, the KTM 390 Duke engine is a 373.27cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor producing 42.9 BHP & 37 Nm matched to a 6-speed gearbox with a quickshifter and a slipper assist clutch. While most features would be retained and the brand could in fact add some tech features to the duke, we expect the new bike’s engine to pump different power and torque figures with a new engine capacity number as well.

The new KTM 390 Duke could debut later this year, and arrive in Indian showrooms towards the end of 2023 or by early 2024.
