Kia India has officially launched the fourth-generation Kia Carnival Limousine in the Indian market, priced at INR 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This premium MPV, arriving as a completely built unit (CBU), has seen a significant jump in price from its previous variant.
The 2024 Kia Carnival Limousine boasts a bold, SUV-inspired design. The front fascia features a wider grille flanked by vertically stacked LED headlamps and inverted L-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The rear is equally striking with LED tail lamps connected by an LED light bar. The vehicle rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and includes a dual electric sunroof, enhancing its premium appeal.
Inside, the Carnival Limousine offers a two-tone interior with a host of high-end features. The dashboard is dominated by twin 12.3-inch displays – one for the driver’s instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment system, which is paired with a 12-speaker Bose audio system. The front seats are power-adjustable, ventilated, and heated, with the driver’s seat offering 12-way adjustment and the passenger seat 8-way adjustment.
The second row features sliding and reclining seats with ventilation, heating, and leg support, ensuring maximum comfort for passengers. Additional amenities include roof-mounted AC vents, sunshades for all windows, and electrically sliding doors.
Safety is a top priority in the new Carnival. It comes equipped with eight airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-assist control, and a suite of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These features include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and a 360-degree surround-view camera.
Under the hood, the 2024 Kia Carnival Limousine is powered by a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 193 horsepower and 441 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to an eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission, ensuring a smooth and powerful driving experience.
Kia India has already received an impressive 2,796 bookings for the new Carnival. The vehicle is available in a single Limousine variant as a seven-seater, catering to the needs of premium MPV buyers in the country.
