Kia has revealed the 2024 Kia Carnival via official images. The new Carnival is based on the Kia KA4 concept showcased earlier at the 2023 Auto Expo in India.
The 2024 Kia Carnival will make its way to India sometime next year. As expected it has a completely new facade with changes all around and on the inside as well.
The front grille is now wider, the headlamps are in an L-shape and the LED DRLs are integrated. Alongside, the bumper is reworked as well. Keeping the target customer in mind, there is a healthy dose of chrome on the front as well.
The same L-shaped theme of the lights is carried over at the back. The L-shaped LED tail lamps are now connected by a light bar. The rear bumper gets a matte black and chrome treatment as well.
Over to the side, the Carnival reveals its MPV dimensions as before. Only changes appear to be new alloy wheels. The design of these seems to be inspired from the electric range of vehicles from the Korean carmaker.
While Kia has not yet revealed official details of the insides, the car is likely to feature a new dashboard, come loaded with tech features and offer multiple seating layouts. In terms of sunroof, Kia could also offer multiple sunroofs on the higher-end versions of the Carnival.
Key features expected on the MPV include dual curved displays for infotainment and driver screens, ADAS features and more.
Kia is likely to continue with the existing power plants of the 3.5-litre V6 petrol and 2.2-litre diesel units. However, a new 1.6-litre turbo petrol with hybrid technology is likely to be offered in the international markets.
However, when launched in India, we can expect Kia to offer only the 2.2-litre diesel with the Carnival.
