Kia has launched the Carens 6-Seater in India with a starting price of INR 12.12 lakh ex-showroom. The 2024 refreshed model in the 6-seater avatar now also comes with 1.5 Diesel with a 6-speed manual transmission. The brand also announced that the new addition expands the trim lineup to 30 options.
The variant expansion also makes the Kia Carens the segment leader in offering diverse range of variants. Earlier, the Kia Carens was available with 23 trims and now the brand offer 30 trims in the Indian market. In addition to the new 6-seater variants, the brand has also introduced an enhanced X-Line model. While the Carens X-line was earlier launched in October 2023, the refreshed model now gets premium features. These include a dashcam, all window auto up & down
with voice commands, and expanded 7-seating options.
2024 Kia Carens – Prestige (O) and Prestige + (O)
Furthermore, the brand also announced that the new trims in the the Prestige +(O) variant in 7DCT and 6AT also gets added features. This includes a sunroof along with LED Map lamp and room lamp. Also, the Prestige (O) variant offers a choice of 6 or 7 seats. The new Prestige (O) also comes with features such as leatherette-wrapped gear knob and a smart key with push-button start. The car also includes an LED Rear Combination lamp, LED DRL, and positioning lamp.
2024 Kia Carens – Premium (O) Variant
The Premium (O) trim also comes with features such as Keyless entry, burglar alarms, and other safety features. The trim also comes with an 8-inch D/Audio system, steering wheel-mounted remote control, and a shark-fin antenna. In addition to this, Kia also revealed that all model now come with a 180W charger, which is an upgrade from the previous 120W charger.
2024 Kia Carens – Colour and Bookings
The brand is also offering the new Kia Carens with a new Pewter Olive colourway, except for the X-Line model. Thanks to the new colourway Kia now offers 8 monotone, 3 dual-tone options, and 1 exclusive colour for the X-Line trim. Bookings for the new Kia Carens is now open through Kia Dealerships across the country.
