2024 Citroën C3 launched with new features & 6-speed automatic at INR 6.16 Lakh

Citroën India has introduced an updated version of its hatchback, the 2024 Citroën C3, with new features and an automatic transmission option. Let’s dive into the details:

Automatic Transmission

The most significant update for the 2024 Citroën C3 is the addition of a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Paired with the 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine, this transmission provides smoother gear shifts and enhances overall driving comfort. The same transmission is already available in the C3 Aircross and the recently launched Basalt Coupe SUV.

• Engine Specs: The 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine generates 108 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 205 Nm of peak torque between 1,750 rpm and 2,500 rpm.
• Manual Option: The 6-speed manual transmission remains available, offering 190 Nm of peak torque at 1,750 rpm.

Enhanced Features

The 2024 Citroën C3 now comes with several additional features:

• LED Projector Headlamps: The hatchback gets projector lens LED headlamps for improved visibility.
• Auto-Folding ORVMs: Electrically-operable mirrors with auto-folding function add convenience.
• Automatic Climate Control: Enjoy precise temperature settings inside the cabin.
• Digital Instrument Cluster: A 7-inch digital instrument cluster provides essential information.

Pricing

While the price for the Citroën C3 automatic is yet to be announced, expect it to cost approximately INR 1-1.2 lakh more than the manual variant. The C3 range starts from INR 6.16 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base Live PureTech 82 MT variant and goes up to INR 9.42 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec Shine Turbo DT + Vibe.
