BMW Motorrad has launched the new all-electric BMW CE 04 in the Indian market at the price of INR 14.90 lakh ex-showroom. The bookings for the BMW Motorrad CE 04 are already open and customers can book the all-electric scooter at all BMW Motorrad dealerships as well as from BMW’s online sales channels. The brand also announced that the deliveries of the CE 04 will commence from September 2024.
In terms of the design, the BMW Motorrad CE 04 features a quirky and futuristic design language. The electric scooter combines sharp edges and large panels. The electric scooter also gets a floating seat underneath which the scooter comes with storage space for helmet. The scooter also gets a 10.25-inch instruments cluster as well as riding modes such as ECO, Rain and Road.
Powering the BMW CE 04 will be a 31 kW/42 Hp electric motor that can propel the scooter from 0-50 kmph in just 2.6 seconds. The BMW Motorrad CE 04 comes with a 8.9 kWh battery pack that delivers able to achieve a top speed of 120 kmph. The all-electric scooter also claims a range of 130 km on a single charge. The BMW Motorrad CE 04 will also be capable of charging at a public charging station in addition to a wall box charger. A standard charger with 2.3 kW output takes 4 hours and 20 minutes to charge the electric scooter. And at the 6.9 kW output charger, the CE 04 takes 1 hour and 40 minutes.
The BMW CE 04 comes with optional features such as ASC (Automatic Stability Control) and DTC (Dynamic Traction Control). The electric scooter features a 35mm telescopic front fork and a single-sided swingarm on the rear and rides on 15-inch alloy wheels shod in 120/70 front and 160/60 rear tyres and BMW Integral ABS.
