Triumph has unveiled the 2023 Street Triple R and RS motorcycles. The Street Triple R gets a major update while a RS version has been introduced that will offer higher performance. A limited edition Street Triple 765 Moto2 Edition has also been unveiled.
While the Indian launch details are not available yet, once launched here, the 2023 Triumph Street Triple rival the likes of Ducati Monster and the Kawasaki Z900.
New for the 2023 model year, Triumph has upgraded the engine with upgrades derived from Moto2 race engine program. The result is a significant power and torque bump up. The bikes also get an improved responsiveness.
In terms of design, the bikes now get aggressive styling, better ergonomics and best ever specifications of the Street Triple bike range. The updates have also made the bike more agile and precise handler.
The Moto2 gets a track-ready specification with fully-adjustable Ohlins suspension and clip-on handlebars
In terms of power, all the 3 bikes get an upgraded 765cc triple engine. The Street Triple R makes 120 PS while the RS and Moto2 make 130 PS. The maximum torque developed on all three versions is 80 Nm. Braking duties are handled by Brembo Stylema brakes on the RS and the Moto2.
