2023 Tata Nexon will get sequential turn indicators, spotted testing

Tata has been testing the new 2023 Nexon extensively. Now, the car has once again been spotted and this time, we can notice the car’s sequential turn indicators.

This is not the first time the car has been spotted testing on the roads. Despite the camouflage, we have been able to identify some features of the car over the previous sightings.
Apart from the sequential turn indicators, the car is likely to come with Harrier / Safari inspired smoked tail lamps.

Overall, Tata is expected to add new features and cosmetic design changes to the Tata Nexon. Back in 2020. The Nexon got a facelift and few feature additions. Now, Tata is once again looking to update the Nexon. That said, the changes are expected to be more of an evolution of the existing design rather than any radical updates.

2023 Nexon : Other features

Walking about the interiors, the car will come with the larger 10.2-inch touchscreen system. This is found on the Red Dark Editions of the Nexon and Altroz. It will come with a new user interface. Apart from that, it is expected to be more advanced and intuitive than the current UI.

Tata is also likely to offer ADAS features on the Nexon. This would make the Nexon the first sub 4m SUV to come with this advanced safety feature. Other safety features could include 6 airbags amongst others.

Powertrain of the 2023 Tata Nexon

Tata will mostly retain the existing engines. These include the 1,2-litre turbo petrol and the 1.5-litre turbo diesel. The petrol unit could be offered with an optional DCT gearbox. The petrol engine makes 118 BHP and 260 Nm while the diesel unit is good for 123 BHO and 225 Nm of torque. Standard transmission on both the engines is a 6-speed manual. The diesel also comes with a 6-speed AMT.
