Tata Motors has just launched the Nexon EV Max in a Dark Edition. This 2023 Tata Nexon EV Max Dark is priced at INR 19.04 lakh ex-showroom for the XZ+ Lux variant, and if you wish to pick the 7.2 kW AC fast charger, then the same variant will cost you INR 19.54 lakh ex-showroom all-India. Dark to the max, the 2023 Tata Nexon EV Max has more dark elements than the previous Nexon dark iterations.

The biggest highlight on the Nexon EV Max Dark in 2023 is the all-new touchscreen infotaiment system, which is bigger and better than ever. This 10.25″ colour display touchscreen powered by Harman offers you a high definition touch sensitive panel which is far more responsive than the old unit. You also get wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto with this system. The rear view camera has also been improved and the audio performance has also been made better with extra bass. The Nexon EV Max Dark also supports voice commands in 6 languages with over 180+ voice command recognition. Powering the Tata Nexon EV Max Dark edition is the same 40.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack coupled to a permanent magnet synchronous AC motor producing 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque with a performance number of 0-100 kmph in under 9 seconds. The brand claims an ARAI range of 453 kms and this EV gets Eco, City & Sports drive modes along with regen levels ranging from 0-1-2-3-4. The Nexon EV Max Dark also gets all-wheel disc brakes and runs on 16″ wheels.
If you use a 3.3 kW AC wall box charge on a 15A plug point, the Nexon EV Max Dark will charge from 10% – 100% in nearly 15 hours. But if you use a 7.2 kW AC fast charger, 0 – 100% can be achieved in 6.5 hours. On a 50 kW DC fast charger, the Nexon EV Max will be ready 0 – 80% in 56 minutes.
