2023 Tata Harrier launched with ADAS, Red Dark priced at INR 21.77 lakh

Tata Motors is on a roll. After tesasing us with the Red Dark Editions of its SUVs, the company has now launched the same. Let us take a look at the 2023 Tata Harrier Red Dark Edition with ADAS. Tata Motors has launched this SUV at a starting price of INR 21.77 lakh.

What’s new on the 2023 Tata Harrier Red Dark Edition?

The Safari Dark Edition comes with an exterior colour shade of Bold Oberon Black, new Piano Black Grille with Zircon Red accents, 18-inch Charcoal Black Alloys with Red Calipers and the Dark Edition monogram on the fenders.

Coming to the insides, Tata Motors offers an exquisite Carnelian Red Interior theme. This includes the Carnelian Red Leatherette seats with diamond quilting, complimenting grab handles and Dark Edition logo on the headrests amongst others. The 2023 Harrier Dark Edition also gets a steel black front dashboard design and Piano black accents on steering wheel, console and doors.

Other features include 200+ Voice commands in 6 languages, 6 Way power driver seats with memory and welcome function, 360-degree Surround View System, 17.78 cm Digital TFT Instrument Cluster and a 26.03 cm HARMAN Touchscreen infotainment.

The Tata Harrier also gets a host of ADAS features. These include ten high-end features like Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and Forward Collision Warning (FCW). Thanks to this, the car will be able to apply brakes automatically when an obstacle is detected on the road. The system will also warn the driver using audible and visual cues. Other ADAS features are Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Rear Collision Warning (RCW) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). The ADAS package also comes with Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Change Alert (LCA). The Harrier and Safari also get High Beam Assist, Door Open Alert and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR).

Powertrain of the 2023 Tata Harrier Red Dark Edition

Apart from the aforementioned cosmetic and safety feature upgrades, Tata Motors has continued with the tried and tested OMEGA platform and FCA-derived Kryotec engine. This 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine makes 170 PS and 350 Nm and is paired to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Increased warranty on 2023 Tata Harrier Dark Edition

Apart from all these changes, Tata Motors has delighted the owners by offering an improved standard warranty of 1 lakh km / 3 years.
