2023 Škoda Slavia Anniversary Edition launched in India at INR 17,27,999

Celebrating 1 successful year in the Indian market, the Skoda Slavia now gets a new anniversary edition. This 2023 Škoda Slavia Anniversary Edition will be available in 1.5 TSI MT & 1.5 TSI AT variants priced at INR 17,27,999 & INR 18,67,999 ex-showroom. The Skoda Slavia sedan is a car which has scored the highest points in the latest Global NCAP crash tests and this refreshed variant line up should keep the potential customers excited.

Skoda has also announced the addition of premium lava blue paint scheme from the Kodiaq, Superb & Octavia on the India 2.0 cars currently on sale.

Slavia Anniversary Edition – What’s New?

Skoda’s new Slavia anniversary edition is priced on top of the Style variant and includes all features from the said trim, and some extras. This model gets new mudflaps at the front and back, chrome ribs on the front grille, chrome garnish on the doors, chrome strip on the boot, C-pillar gets anniversary edition branding, anniversary edition scuff plate, anniversary edition badge on the steering wheel, aluminium pedals, anniversary edition cushions, 25.4 cm infotainment system with wireless SmartLink & Skoda Play Apps and a 380-watt sound system with a subwoofer.

Slavia Anniversay Edition Engine

Powering the 2023 Škoda Slavia Anniversary Edition will be a 1.5L, 4-cylinder, TSI EVO, turbocharged petrol engine producing 110 kW of peak power and 250 Nm of peak torque matched to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. This engine boasts segment exclusive cylinder deactivation technology which helps in better fuel efficiency. 2 out of the 4 cylinders can shut down when the engine is not under heavy load. The Slavia is based on the MQB-A0-IN platform which is specifically developed for the Indian market and boasts 95% localisation. Skoda claims a low cost of ownership for their new cars starting at INR 0.46 / km.

Skoda’s Slavia sedan now rivals the likes of Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus which is a badge engineered sibling and the dated Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Skoda launched the Slavia in March 2022. New Skoda customers can now have an effective warranty of almost 8 years / 1,50,000 kms.
