2023 KTM 390 Duke Review – 3rd Generation

KTM has launched the 390 Duke in India. The 3rd-Gen motorcycle is priced at INR. 3.11 lakh ex-showroom. Compared to the outgoing model, the new updated 390 Duke is pricier by INR 13,000. Let us take a look at the video review of the same.

2023 Duke 390 : Features

The 390 Duke has received a significant upgrade for the third-generation. The Austrian bike maker is now offering LED headlamps that look bigger than before, aggressive looking LED DRLs and an updated fuel tank design. The tank shrouds now extend further outward making the 2023 KTM 390 Duke a muscular motorcycle. KTM is also offering a new split-style seat design and an exposed rear subframe.

KTM is offering a choice of two colour options – Atlantic Blue and Electronic Orange Metallic.

Hardware on the 2023 Duke 390

The 3rd-generation motorcycle comes with an all-new design and also gets an improved engine.

The 3rd-gen 390 Duke comes with a new trellis frame. This is made from steel and is powder coated. The front suspension consists of 33mm upside-down front forks with adjustable rebound and compression. Meanwhile, the rear suspension duties are handled by a monoshock with preload and rebound adjustment.

A 5-inch TFT display is offered on the bike a well. This displays all the important information at all times. It also offers turn-by-turn navigation, smartphone connectivity, call and music controls amongst others.

Powertrain details of the 2023 KTM Duke 390

The highlight of this update in the new 399cc engine. This single-cylinder, liquid-cooled develops 44.25 BHP and 39 Nm of peak torque. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox. This gearbox is offferd with a quick shifter and a slipper clutch.

KTM has also added a bunch of rider aids on the new 390 Duke. These include launch control, ride modes like Street, Rain and Track, and more.
