KTM has waged a war in the entry-level adventure touring segment. While the 390 Adventure ever since it’s launch was a benchmark product, in the past couple of weeks, the brand has launched the no-frills 390 Adventure X & also a low-seat-height 390 Adventure V. Now, the brand has introduced the top of the line variant with fully adjustable suspension and spoke wheels. This top spec KTM 390 Adventure has been priced at INR 3.60 lakh ex-showroon, and there is no other motorcycle under INR 10 lakh which offers such equipment in the Indian market.
The front suspension of this 390 Adventure makes use of a WP Apex USD fork which allows for compression and rebound dampening. The rear monoshock offers pre-load adjustment and rebound damping. For hardcore off-road enthusiasts, the bike now comes with 19″ front and 17″ rear aluminium spoked rims. The bike will now be offered in a new rally-inspired dakar style colour and graphics scheme. Other high-tech features continue which includes traction control, street & off-road riding modes, cornering ABS, off-road ABS, quickshifter+, TFT colour digital speedometer cluster and My Ride connectivity features, full LED lighting, split seat setup, etc.
The new 2023 KTM 390 Adventure in this top trim will be available in a Rally Orange paint scheme.
The front USD fork of this motorcycle allows for 30 clicks each for rebound and compression adjustment. The rear monoshock has 10 clicks adjustment for pre-load and 20 clicks adjustment for rebound. This makes sure the rider can tweak the bikes character to his / her riding style.
Let us say this clearly. In this segment, there is no motorcycle as powerful, as agile and as feature loaded as the KTM 390 Adventure. Now with multiple variants and the same engine option, there is a 390 Adventure to suit different kind of rider needs. Powering the motorcycle is a 373.27cc, DOHC, fuel-injected, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke motor producing 43.5 PS of power and 37 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper assist clutch and ride-by-wire tech.
