The 2023 Kia Seltos facelift was just unveiled last week. During the event, the Korean carmaker revealed the K-Code initiative that rewards the current Seltos owners for their loyalty towards the brand. Let us take a look at the same in detail.
Existing Seltos owners, including those who acquired the car second hand will be able to generate a unique code on the Kia website. This code will allow new Seltos customers to get a higher priority delivery and can skip long waiting queues.
K-Code can be generated online or via the My Kia app. Each K-Code can be used only once. Customers with a K-Code will be able to book the car on 14th July 2023 from 00:00 to 11:59 pm.
The updated Seltos now comes with a larger bumper, new fog lamp inserts and updated headlamps. The headlamps are all-LED units with new DRLs that extend into the grille. The Korean carmaker now offers larger 18-inch alloys, finished in a dual tone design on the 2023 Seltos. These wheels are the same ones offered internationally. The rear too has been revamped for the facelift. The SUV now comes with sequential turn signals, dual tip exhaust and a lightbar that connects both the tail lamps.The bumper design too has been changed and now houses the reversing lamp.
The insides now come with dual 10.25-inch screens. One of them is an infotainment screen while the other is the digital driver infotainment screen. Other changes include new HVAC controls, slim AC vents, and updated audio controls. The 2023 Seltos also gets dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, 8-inch head-up display amongst others. Music is played through the Bose 8-speaker system and the cabin gets mood lamps as well.
Powertrain options on the updated Kia Seltos include three engine options. These include a 1.5-litre NA petrol good for 115 HP and 144 Nm, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol rated at 160 HP and 253 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel good for 115 HP / 250 Nm. Transmission options include a CVT, 6-speed IMT, 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
