2023 Kawasaki Eliminator 400 cruiser bike revealed

Kawasaki has brought the Eliminator 400 cruiser into the overseas market. It gets the same engine as the Ninja 400 sportbike, but with a different state of tune. Customers can have the motorcycle in two trims, namely, standard and SE. This SE trim features front and rear cameras, along with other additional equipment.

Kawasaki Eliminator 400 Key Highlights

As mentioned, powering the Eliminator 400 is the same liquid-cooled, 399cc, parallel-twin engine. But the power out of the motor reads as 48 HP and 37 Nm. This figure makes it slightly more powerful than the Ninja 400. The motorcycle also features a brand new trellis frame suspended by a telescopic fork and twin shock absorber set-up.

Kawasaki Eliminator 400 Mechanical Setup

Braking power comes from a 310mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear mated to dual-channel ABS. The fuel tank measures 12 litres which is five litres smaller than the Ninja 400. And weighing 176 kg, it is 8 kg heavier as well.

Like its predecessors, the new Eliminator 400 too sports a typical cruiser design language. This has a raked-out front end, a smooth round fuel tank and a low seat. But unlike most Eliminators that came before it, we do not see much chrome on this new motorcycle. To keep up with the modern cruiser aesthetic, all the bodywork and cycle parts are done in black. The lighting setup includes LED all around.

The top-spec SE variant of the Eliminator 400 equips front and rear cameras. These serve the purpose of dash-cams and can help the rider with concrete proof, should the worst occur. Additionally, the SE variant also gets a small bikini fairing and fork gaiters.

Will Kawasaki Eliminator 400 Come To The Indian Market?
