2023 Hyundai Verna N Line spotted road testing

As per recent reports, Verna N-Line could very soon arrive on the market. Launched in March, the all-new Hyundai Verna has been selling in good numbers. In fact, it is currently the top-selling midsize sedan in the country. The market share of the Hyundai Verna stands at around 40 per cent.

Talking of its rivals, it has taken a significant lead over Honda City, Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus and Maruti Ciaz. Thus to continue with this momentum, Hyundai could bring in the N-Line variant of the new Verna. As aware that the Hyundai N-Line variants are known for their sporty styling. In India, Hyundai currently retails N-Line variants of i20 and Venue. For the international markets, we have a much wider portfolio of N-Line variants. It includes the likes of i10, i20, i30, Elantra, Sonata, Kona and Tucson.

Hyundai Verna N-Line In The Works

Very recently a fully camouflaged Verna has been spotted on road tests. Upon close scrutiny, we can see the red treatment along the front and rear bumper and the sides as well. But, these are not fully visible due to the full-body camouflage. The test mule also gets red brake callipers, which is also a signature feature of Hyundai N-Line variants. But in the case of Verna, red brake callipers are already a standard fitment with the turbo trim. Another key mention is that the test mule gets diamond-cut alloy wheels.

At the rear, we see that the test mule seems to have a darker shade for the tail lights. All this visual evidence makes us believe that Veran N-Line could happen very soon. Thus the final version could have some more unique features such as a sportier bumper design and protruding exhaust pipes. We could also get to see a different set of alloy wheels.

Just like other N-Line variants, Verna N-Line will also benefit from red elements on the inside as well. It will cover items such as seat upholstery, gear lever gaiter, steering wheel and ambient lighting. N-Line badging across both interiors and exteriors will further add to the touch.

Hyundai Verna Engine Options

Powering Hyundai Verna N-Line variant will be the 1.5-litre turbo petrol motor. The motor makes 160 PS of max power and 253 Nm of peak torque. Gearbox choices include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT. Other variants of Verna also have the option of the 1.5-litre NA petrol motor. It makes 115 PS / 143.8 Nm matched to either a 6-speed manual or IVT gearbox.

Hyundai Verna Key Features On Offer

The equipment list for Verna N-Line will pretty much remain the same as that of the respective standard variant. Some key mentions include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a range of connectivity features (Hyundai Blue Link), a colour TFT instrument console, Bose premium sound system, voice commands, front ventilated and heated seats, wireless charger, a smart electric sunroof,  and integrated air purifier. In terms of safety, the sedan benefits from hill start to assist control, vehicle stability management, electronic stability control, front and reverse parking sensors, a rear camera with guidelines and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
