Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the Repsol Edition of the Hornet. The move comes ahead of the inaugural MotoGP race in India. The Honda Hornet Repsol Edition is priced at INR 1,40,000 ex-showroom.
Honda has opted for a new colour scheme and graphics for this edition. The Hornet Repsol Edition gets a two-tone colour scheme of Ross White and Vibrant Orange. The bike also gets the Repsol racing stripe.
Other features on the Hornet Repsol Edition include LED headlamp, LED turn signals and an LED tail light. The bike also sports a split seat design and the rider benefits from a digital instrument cluster, which gets 5 levels of adjustable brightness.
Coming to the hardware of the bike, the 2023 Hornet 2.0 is based on a diamond-type frame. Suspension duties are handled by upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock. Brakes consist of a 276mm disc at the front and 220mm rear disc. Both brakes are of the petal type.
The Hornet comes with a 184.4cc single cylinder engine. This motor develops 17 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 15.9 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. Honda offers a 5-speed gearbox along with a new slipper clutch that gets assist as well.
According to Honda, the CB200X targets customers who want a rugged vehicle for everyday commute and short weekend exploration. The brand offers three colours on the Honda CB200X – Sports Red, Pearl Nightstar Black and Decent Blue Metallic. The bike is priced at INR 1,46,999 ex-showroom.
The Honda CB200X comes with an upright adventure fairing with a tall windscreen. The brand has also incorporated an aero duct on the windshield to channel cool fresh air to the rider. The motorcycle comes with a commanding 810mm seat height and mid-set footpegs that also allow out-of-saddle riding.
