2023 Honda CB300R launched in India at INR 2,40,000

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2023 CB300R motorbike. The bike gets a Neo Sports Cafe Roadster design and is complaint with OBD2A norms. Honda has priced this motorcycle at INR 2,40,000, ex-showroom.

What’s new in the Honda CB300R?

Honda CB300R retains the 286cc single cylinder liquid cooled motor. It is now updated to meet the latest emission compliance norms. The engine develops 30.7 PS and 27.5 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The Honda CB300R continues with a circular headlamp, an engine cowl, split seats and a single side exhaust.

Other hardware on the bike includes upside-down front forks, rear mono-shock, petal-type disc brakes, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Dunlop tyres measure 110/70R-17-section front and 150/60R-17-section rear. The CB300R utilises a Diamond type frame with a seat height of 801 mm and 157 mm of ground clearance. Along with a 9.7-liter fuel tank, the bike sports 41mm, inverted front forks, and a 7-step adjustable rear monoshock.

Additionally, the bike sports an Assist and Slipper Clutch and an LCD Multi-Function display with a Gear Position Indicator. The bike’s instrument panel also includes a Side Stand Indicator with an Engine Inhibitor and a fully-digital liquid crystal meter.

In terms of colour options, the new Honda CB300R? comes with a choice of Pearl Spartan Red and Matte Massive Grey Metallic. Inspired from the larger retro CB1000R, the CB300R is a Neo Sports Cafe Roadster which is not only minimalistic but takes on a modern approach to the timeless roadster design.

Features and Availability of the Honda CB300R

Some of the features on the bike includes LED lighting, digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, and assist and slipper clutch. Internationally, the Japanese bike maker is offering two other colours like Matte Black Metallic and the more stand-out Pearl Dusk Yellow.
