2023 Hero MotoCorp Karizma XMR Review

Hero MotoCorp has brought back the iconic Karizma name. The 2023 Karizma XMR has been launched in India with a special introductory price of INR 1,72,900 ex-showroom. Let us take a look at the review of the same.

What’s new on the Hero Karizma XMR?

The Hero Karizma XMR comes with a lot of new features. Most importantly, it now gets updated styling and a sporty design. At the front, there is an aggressive looking LED headlamp, LED DRLs and a small wind deflector. The bike comes with sporty handlebars & rearview mirrors and a large fairing. The new Karizma also gets prominent graphics and a meaty fuel tank.

Hero has offered split-type seats on the Karizma, along with a compact exhaust. The bike also gets a digital instrument cluster and is offered with mobile phone connectivity and features like turn-by-turn navigation.

Dimension and Hardware on the new 2023 Hero Karizma XMR

Coming to the dimensions, the 2023 Karizma XMR 210 measures 2,068 mm long, 760 mm wide and is 1,110 mm tall. The wheelbase is 1,351 mm while the seat height is 810 mm. The ground clearance is 160 mm and the fuel tank capacity is 11 litres.

On the Karizma XMR, the suspension duties are handled by 37mm diameter front forks and a rear monoshock with 6-step adjustable pre-load. Brakes include a disc on both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard.

Powertrain of the Hero Karizma XMR

The Hero Karizma XMR comes with a 210cc liquid cooled engine. This 4V DOHC motor puts out 25 BHP @ 9,250 rpm and 20.4 Nm @ 7,250 rpm.A 6-speed gearbox is paired to the engine. It gets slip and assist clutch as standard.

Positioning of the Karizma XMR

This new Karizma XMR will offer a sports tourer riding stance. It is not as aggressive or committed like the KTM RC series. While the new motorcycle will surely boast a lot about performance, due to the liquid-cooled engine, it will most likely be positioned as a comfortable tourer. The original Karizma has always been touring focussed, but this time, it does look more sporty than ever. With increased performance, the Karizma XMR 210 could now feel at home on track days as well.
