Recently, Hero MotoCorp had filed a trademark for the Karizma XMR 210 and it seems like the product is already rolling on the streets for testing purpose. Seen here, is what could be the 2023 Hero MotoCorp Karizma XMR 210 fully-faired motorcycle which will bring to Hero MotoCorp showrooms a brand new liquid-cooled engine. While the launch timeline is not official, we expect the bike to be ready by or before the festive season this year.
From the spyshots, one can clearly note that the 2023 Hero MotoCorp Karizma XMR 210 will get split / dual headlamps, and most likely to be LED units. The mirrors are mounted on the front fairing and the bike also gets a medium size windscreen. The side fairing is large enough, but still allows the engine casing to be exposed and a little more, for better heat dissipation. The front fork seems to be a telescopic unit and the alloy wheels will house a disc brake at both ends, mostly with dual-channel ABS. There’s also a rear monoshock, split seat sporty setup, LED tail lamp, short exhaust end can, small tyre hugger and a small saree guard which is seen.
Although a fully faired sports bike, the 2023 Hero MotoCorp Karizma XMR 210 will be more of a sports tourer. The test rider can be seen in a relatively relaxed stance, comparable to the Honda CBR250 from back in the day. This means that the 2023 Hero MotoCorp Karizma XMR 210 won’t be as sporty in its riding posture as the KTM RC 200 / RC 390. The fuel tank also looks fairly large, so long distance touring, if this is true, could be effortless. Clip-on handlebars will surely give away the sporty intent of the motorcycle to newbie riders.
Our expectations from this all-new 2023 Hero MotoCorp Karizma XMR 210 includes a full digital speedometer cluster with bluetooth connectivity and navigation support. Good mid-range performance along with top end rush to justify the Karizma nameplate. Top quality components and tyres to match or exceed competing products. And of course, since this is a Hero MotoCorp product, we wish for really competitive price tag, possible the lowest in the class.
Rumours suggest that the 2023 Hero MotoCorp Karizma XMR 210 will get an all-new 210cc or similar output, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor matched to a 6-speed gearbox. We hope that the brand doesn’t mess it up with a 5-speed gearbox. While we do not expect any ride modes or traction control from this bike, Hero MotoCorp could throw in some surprises just to make some noise in the market. Power figure could be close to 25 BHP and torque output close to 30 Nm, but all this is mere speculation as of now.
