2023 Hero MotoCorp Karizma XMR 210 revealed to dealers

Written by Parichay Malvankar

Showcased at a dealer event, this is the all-new Hero MotoCorp Karizma XMR 210. While the final name could be different, but we would get to know about that only after official communication. This image has leaked from a dealer showcase event, and finally, this looks like an appropriate revival of the Karizma nameplate.

New Karizma XMR Features:

As seen in the leaked images, the new 2023 Karizma XMR 210 features a proper fully faired sports bike design language. Yet, it looks more sleeker than the old Karizma ZMR. Features of this motorcycle will include full LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, telescopic front fork, rear monoshock, short exhaust end can with silver accents, multi-bi-spoke alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, dual tone fuel tank design, split seat setup, setp-up pillion seat, small pillion grab rail, clip on handlebars, front windscreen, front & rear disc brakes possibly with dual-channel ABS, gold finished engine casing and as a surprise feature, a centre stand on a sports bike.

2023 Karizma XMR 210 Engine:

Powering the new for 2023 Hero MotoCorp Karizma XMR 210 will be an in-house developed 210cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled motor which could have an output of close to 25 HP & 30 Nm matched to a 6-speed gearbox. There is no clarity on special features such as slipper assist clutch, traction control, riding modes or ABS modes.

This new Karizma XMR will offer a sports tourer riding stance, and not completely aggressive and committed stance like the KTM RC series. This new motorcycle will surely harp a lot about performance, thanks to the liquid-cooled engine, but will most likely be positioned as a comfortable tourer as well. The Karizma has always been touring focussed, but this time, it does look more sporty than ever. With increased performance, the Karizma XMR 210 could now feel at home at track days as well.

Expect pricing to be in the range of Yamaha YZF-R15 & KTM RC 200. So you can start saving up to INR 2 lakh at least, if you wish to ride home on this new Karizma XMR motorcycle.
