BMW has officially started accepting bookings for the performance spec BMW X3 M40i xDrive in the Indian market. This performance SUV will soon be available at BMW dealerships and the booking amount has been set at INR 5 lakh. This BMW X3 M40i xDrive will be available only for a limited time, in limited numbers and can only be booked online. The official launch for this product is scheduled in May 2023. Deliveries will happen on a first come first serve basis. BMW is confident that just like the popular M340i sedan, this BMW X3 M40i xDrive will enhance the appeal of their X3 Sports Activity Vehicle.
BMW X3 M40i xDrive – What’s Different?
Typical of M cars from the BMW brand, the BMW X3 M40i xDrive will also be a sporty alternative to the standard X3 SUV. The vehicle will come with plenty of ‘M’ highlights on the outside and inside to give it a sporty touch. The biggest highlight however would be the M40i, 3.0L engine which will be coupled with other high-spec hardware such as adaptive M suspension, M sport differential, M sport brakes and the xDrive all-wheel-drive. Customers can also opt for special M alloy wheels for the BMW X3 M40i xDrive. The sporty body kit with aggressive bumpers, larger vents, new wheels, dual exhaust outlets, M ORVMs, new interior upholstery, etc. will help the BMW X3 M40i xDrive stand out.
BMW X3 M40i xDrive Performance
The BMW X3 M40i xDrive with the 3.0L, 6-cylinder, turbocharged gasoline motor would produce 355 BHP of power and 500 Nm of torque paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. This sporty SUV can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds with a top speed limited to 250 kmph.
