2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 launched in India at INR 1,34,675

Bajaj officially brings in the updated NS160 in India. Customers will have to match Bajaj’s asking price of INR 1,34,675 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the 2023 NS160. As a part of the update, we get to see some key upgrades. Having said that, it also now costs a little more than before.

Any Changes To Pulsar NS160’s Design?

In this latest iteration, the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 continues with the same design language as the 2022 model. Thus we get to see the same LED headlight, chiselled fuel tank, split seat, sharp rear side panels and split grab rail. However, for 2023 NS160 there’s a new paint shade. This is a new black and red paint scheme, adding to its visual appeal.

What Are The Changes To Pulsar NS160’s engine?

The 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 continues with the same 160cc single-cylinder motor. This unit makes 16.7 BHP and 14.7 Nm and gets a five-speed gearbox. The key point here is that the motor is now OBD-2-ready.

New Features For The Pulsar NS160

As for the features, Bajaj has not made any changes. It gets the same list of features as the 2023 model. So, the 2023 model benefits from a halogen headlight LED taillight and a semi-digital instrument that gets the speedometer, odometer, trip metre, and fuel level indicator. One addition is that it now benefits from a gear position indicator as well. Apart from that, in terms of safety, Bajaj has added dual-channel ABS.

Hardware Changes To The Pulsar NS160

One of the major changes for the new NS comes in the hardware department. The motorcycle now benefits from USD front forks instead of conventional telescopic units. Although the rear monoshock remains unchanged. There’s a new update in the braking hardware as well. It now comes from Grimeca instead of ByBre. Interestingly enough the front disc now measures 300mm, as opposed to the previous 260mm unit. The motorcycle continues with 17-inch alloys wrapped in 100/80 front and 130/70 rear tyres.

Updates Price Tag For Pulsar NS160

With the new price tag of INR 1,34,657 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2023 Pulsar NS160 now costs about INR 9,000 more than before.
