TVS Motors India has launched the 2022 iQube electric scooter in India. The new iQube gets bright new colours, added tech, more variants, charging options and a higher real-world range. The new iQube will also now come in two new variants – iQube S and iQube ST. The pricing for the iQube range starts at INR 1,68,568 (ex-showroom Pune). The iQube S comes with a sticker price of INR 1,76,467 (ex-showroom Pune). TVS has not revealed the cost of the top-end iQube ST model. However, interested customers can pre-book it by paying INR 999.
Additionally, the new iQube will be available in 52 new cities, along with the existing 33. With the availability of the electric scooter expanding to 85 cities, expect an increase in its sales. TVS mentioned interested customers can book the iQube and iQube S across cities it is available. Furthermore, customers can pre-book the models where it is still not available. As for the iQube ST, pre-bookings are open across all 85 cities. Interested customers can book the electric scooter from the TVS website or visit the nearest dealership.
2022 TVS iQube – Variants & Colours
The iQube will now be available in three variants – iQube, iQube S and iQube ST. All three variants will get different colour options. In addition to the Pearl White colour option, the iQube will get two new ones – Shining Red and Titanium Grey Glossy. The iQube S variant will come in four colour options – Mercury Grey Glossy, Lucid Yellow, Mint Blue and Copper Bronze Glossy. At the same time, the top-end iQube ST variant gets four colours – Starlight Blue Glossy, Titanium Grey Matte, Coral Sand Glossy and Copper Bronze Matte.
2022 TVS iQube – Top Features
The new TVS iQube range will offer a host of new features, such as a 7-inch TFT touchscreen, Infinity theme personalization, voice assist, and TVS iQube Alexa Assist. The new 7-inch display will also let you control it using a new 5-way joystick. Additionally, it will be able to control music and also get OTA updates. Other top features include vehicle health and safety notifications, multiple Bluetooth and Cloud Connectivity options, a plug-and-play carry along fast charger, 32-litre of under-seat storage and more.
2022 TVS iQube – Battery, Range & Charging
The iQube and iQube S will come with a 3.4 kWh battery pack. According to TVS, both variants will deliver an on-road range of 100 km. On the other hand, the iQube ST will come with a bigger 5.1 kWh battery pack. TVS says the top-of-the-line ST variant will deliver a best-in-class on-road range of 140 km.
The iQube range will also get multiple charger options. The standard and the S variant of the iQube will get 650W and 950W capacity options. The charging times for these chargers will be 3 hours and 4.5 hours. The top-end iQube ST variant will come with a larger capacity 1.5 kW fast charger.
