Triumph has unveiled the all-new Speed Triple 1200 RR in the international market. The Speed Triple 1200 RR is a retro-styled half-fairing sports bike with a Cafe Racer inspired design. The motorcycle ticks all the boxes in the retro-classic design philosophy and comes with contemporary features in the electronics department and a Euro5 emissions-compliant engine.

The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR features a rounded headlamp with a half faring design. The motorcycle comes with a retro bubble style visor and wing mirrors mounted on the fairing. The rounded headlamp reverberates with the retro design but comes with LED light technology integrated with Triumph badging, showing the way to the future.
The Speed Triple 1200 RR also comes with a muscular fuel tank and an exposed frame design. The tail section on the RR is sleek and features an LED taillamp. Triumph is offering the Speed Triple 1200 RR with Red Hopper and Storm Grey scheme along with a Crystal White and Storm Grey option.

The signature-RR single round headlight set-up not only gives the motorcycle an unmatched look but also helps keep the dashboard uncluttered. Triumph is using new carbon fibre infill panels to detail the tank, fairing and cockpit. The motorcycle also comes with a carbon fibre front mudguard and unique carbon fibre side panels. The brand also offers a colour-coded belly pan and colour coded seat cowl as standard. The seat cowl is supplied alongside the pillion seat and is easily interchangeable.

The Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR comes with features such as a full-colour 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with My Triumph connectivity as standard. The instruments cluster is both Android and IOS compatible, and the rider can control phone calls and music operations. The cluster also offers turn-by-turn navigation, developed in partnership with Google, and also control a GoPro camera. The controls to the dashboard are all accessed using a backlit switch cube.
The brand also offers five riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport, Rider-configurable, and also a Track mode. The bike also gets electronic intervention features such as optimised cornering ABS, switchable optimised cornering traction control system etc. The Speed Triple 1200 RR also comes with Triumph Shift Assist up and down quickshifter developed from the World Moto2 championship.
Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR – Engine Specifications
Powering the Speed Triple 1200 RR is a 1160cc inline 3-cylinder engine. The liquid-cooled triple engine with multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection and electronic throttle control produces 180 PS of power and 125 Nm of torque. The engine pairs to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch.

The motorcycle comes with Ohlins 43mm fully adjustable USD front forks. The rear features an Ohlins monoshock RSU with linkage. Both the front and rear suspension features an Ohlins S-EC 2.0 OBTi electronic compression/rebound damping system. The motorcycle also comes with high-specification Brembo Stylema monobloc callipers with twin 320mm floating front and a single 220mm disc on the rear.
