Suzuki has introduced the all-new S-Cross in the European market. The Suzuki S-Cross SUV will also soon make it to the Indian market owing to the vehicles popularity and the trend shift towards the SUV segment. The current-generation S-Cross is quite out-matched by the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos. However, the brand has not currently announced when the S-Cross will make its debut in India.
The new S-Cross comes with a completely new exterior design featuring new slender headlamps and wraparound taillamps. The car features a prominent grille with a chrome applique that mingles well with the unique boxy shape of the headlights. The front bumper features a large air dam with a faux silver skid plate. The crossover also features black side cladding on the muscular wheel arches. The taillamps also come with a smoked effect. Completing the looks of the new S-Cross is the new 17-inch alloy wheels in a five-spoke shape.
The second-generation S-Cross comes with entirely new styling and features on both the exteriors and interiors. The car features triple-LED headlights and LED taillights. On the inside, the S-Cross features a free-standing 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a Smartphone link with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The bike also comes with dual-zone auto air conditioning. The S-Cross will also come with an analogue speedometer and tachometer along with a digital multi-information display. In the European market, the S-Cross will also come with driving modes and an ALLGRIP SELECT system.
In Europe, Suzuki will offer the S-Cross with a 1.4 Boosterjet Mild Hybrid with manual and automatic transmission options. The brand also provides the S-Cross with the ALLGRIP 4-wheel-drivetrain in both manual and automatic engine options. Suzuki offers the S-Cross with two trims, Motion and Ultra. The 4-wheel drive system is equipped only on the Ultra trim of the S-Cross.
The Suzuki S-Cross comes with safety features such as Dual Sensor Brake Support (Automated Emergency Braking), Lane Departure Prevention and Warning, Blind Spot Monitor, Traffic Sign Recognition, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and eCall.
