MG Motor India has released another teaser of the soon-to-be-launched Next-Gen Hector. This time, the teaser reveals the interior of the SUV. MG Motor India says it conceptualised the interior as a ‘Symphony of Luxury’ and designed it to offer a cinematic and immersive experience. Complementing this is the handcrafted textures, soft-touch tactile and a versatile ambience.
The 2022 MG Hector, what as MG likes to call it, the Next-Gen Hector, will get a dual-tone Oak White and Black interior. In addition to this, MG will also add a host of rich brushed metal accents around the cabin. These will ensure the cabin of the SUV exudes a sense of luxury.
The Next-Gen Hector will also get an all-new instrument panel with a leather covering. It will have horizontal lines that run through the door panel and form a front cabin space surrounded by a wingspan. There will also be chrome trim on the AC vents, which amplifies the high-end luxury feeling. The 2022 MG Hector will also get multiple options for its ambient lighting.
From the previous teasers, we know that MG will equip the Next-Gen Hector with India’s largest portrait infotainment system. This HD display will measure 14-inch in size, and powering it will be MG’s Next-Gen i-SMART technology. MG claims it will deliver a responsive, accurate and seamless experience.
For even more convenience, the 14-inch HD portrait infotainment system will feature wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The 2022 Hector will also feature a 7-inch fully-digital instrument cluster. MG says it will be configurable and claims it will offer a wide field of vision and immersive virtual display.
MG Motor India will also add ADAS features to the 2022 Hector. These will be available in the top-end variants. Sources suggest these could increase the price of the 2022 Hector significantly.
