The Mahindra Scorpio has always been a C-Segment SUV, but with the new Scorpio-N, Mahindra will give it enough features to jump it to the D-Segment tier. The company unveiled the new Scorpio-N recently, and though we got a good look at it, we didn’t know much about the available powertrains and features. The Scorpio-N will launch on 27th June 2022, but before the launch, we have all new details available thanks to a new leak.
Over the years, Mahindra gave a lot of subtle updates and facelifts to the Scorpio, which will also be on sale alongside the new Scorpio-N. 2022 also marks Scorpio’s 20th anniversary month. Hence, that’s when the new Scorpio-N, which Mahindra calls the ‘Big Daddy of SUVs’, will make its official debut.
2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV
Mahindra revealed the exteriors of the car except for the rear end. Also, the interiors are not yet revealed. However, we know the exterior will continue with a boxy design similar to the old Scorpio. Although, the SUV will grow in all dimensions – the length, width and height. The Scorpio-N will continue using a ladder-frame chassis like the old one. To go with its rugged appeal, Mahindra will also offer a 4×4 system and a low-range transfer case in a few variants.
