2022 Mahindra Bolero spotted testing with new Twin Peaks logo

Written by AnantaSaranNayak

Mahindra is getting ready to update its lineup of SUVs with the new Twin Peaks logo. The newly launched products, XUV700, Scorpio Classic and Scorpio-N, already come with this logo. The XUV300 and Bolero will most likely wear this logo from now. Ahead of the launch, both these SUVs have been spied with the new Mahindra logo. Recently a Bolero with the new logo was spotted for the very first time. With the logo update, we expect no other changes. Thus, mechanically and cosmetically, the car will remain pretty much identical. Additionally, the Bolero Neo could get the same logo update soon.

Mahindra Bolero – Key Highlights

Bolero has been a top seller for Mahindra. Recently, Mahindra also updated the Bolero with some additional safety features. Thus, the Bolero now gets two airbags as a standard fitment. The addition of a front passenger-side airbag has resulted in some interior changes. Previously, the passenger side of the dashboard came with a trademark grab handle. However, it now gets a regular dashboard panel. Furthermore, the new panel on the passenger side gets a new faux wood garnish, similar to the wood finish on the central console around the AC vents and music system.

Mahindra Bolero’s other safety features include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), reverse parking sensors, seat belt reminders and a Co-driver Occupant Detection System. All these safety features are now a standard fitment across the entire range. Mahindra sells the Bolero in three trims B4, B6 and B6 (O).

2022 Bolero will likely continue to get the same set of features and equipment. This includes keyless entry, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a Bluetooth-enabled music system with AUX and USB connectivity, a remote fuel lid opener, a manual AC and power steering. In terms of mechanicals, Bolero uses a 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine which kicks out 75 bhp at 3,600rpm and a peak torque of 210 Nm at 1,600rpm. Mahindra does not offer an automatic transmission. Thus, there’s only the 5-speed manual gearbox as a standard offering.
