KTM has unveiled the 2022 KTM 450 Rally Factory Replica in the international markets. The 2022 KTM 450 Rally Factory Replica will be limited to 80 units worldwide. But the brand boasts that the motorcycle is Ready To Race right out of the crate. As far as the price is concerned, the Factory Replica costs EUR 25,900. The brand also announced that it would also provide a service and support package for limited riders and motorcycles at an additional cost at the upcoming Dakar Rally. This service and support package is available for all KTM Rally models at an additional cost.
KTM developed the 450 Rally Factory Replica through feedback from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Toby Price, Matthias Walkner and Sam Sunderland. The KTM 450 Rally Factory Replica has become synonymous with rally racing and allows riders worldwide to push the limits. KTM specially engineered the motorcycle to meet the demands of rally racing. KTM boasts that the engine is also efficient in powering through sand dunes and navigating through difficult technical sections at high speeds.
Powering the KTM 450 Rally Factory Replica is a 450 cc SOHC fuel-injection engine. The engine is said to be ultra-reliable and built around KTM race-proven formula. The engine comes with a PANKL Racing Systems gearbox offering a more linear gear spread. The gearbox comes with the same gear ratios as those found on the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machines.
The KTM 450 Rally Factory Replica features a competition chassis for perfectly balanced flex characteristics. The Factory Replica also features WP XACT PRO 48 mm closed cartridge forks with cone valve technology for front suspension duties. On the rear, the Factory Replica gets a WP XACT PRO, a fully adjustable monoshock suspension.
The KTM 450 Rally Factory Replica also comes with a premium Akrapovic exhaust system, rally roadbook for navigation, projector headlamps, flying fenders, extra-large fuel tank with a low centre of gravity designed for multi-stage cross-country racing.
