Following the introduction of the MY22 KTM 390 Adventure in the international market, the Austrian brand KTM has now launched the MY22 KTM 250 Adventure abroad. The new motorcycle comes with updated electronics, minor mechanical changes and two new colours and graphics. The 2022 KTM 250 Adventure is also likely to make it to the Indian market soon, thanks to its demand here in India.
The KTM 250 Adventure gets minor tweaks to the running gear, which only includes the alloy wheels of the bike. The brand has updated the 6-double spoke design replacing it with a 5-double spoke design. KTM claims that in the upgrade process, the new alloy wheel has become more robust and is now able to take more beatings.
The brand also offers the 2022 KTM 250 Adventure with OFFROAD ABS. The new ABS mode completely shuts off electronic intervention on the rear wheel and also dials down intervention on the front to offer more control to the rider. Thanks to the OFFROAD ABS, riders can now slide into corners and also prevent front brake lock-up in gravel and dirt. In case the rider stalls the motorcycle, the OFFROAD mode continues to remain engaged without having to switch on again.
The new KTM 250 Adventures comes with two new colour themes. The first is the Blue tank with white panels and new graphics. The second theme is an orange tank with white tank spoilers and new KTM graphics. Other body parts on both the bike come finished in black. This also includes the new alloy wheels.
The 2022 KTM 250 Adventure retains the engine and running gear from the predecessor. Powering the KTM 250 Adventure is a 250cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder four-valve engine. The DOHC engine produces 29.5 Hp of power and 22 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch.
