2022 Hyundai Venue N Line Review

In September 2021, Hyundai India introduced the N Line range in India with the launch of the i20 N Line. And in September 2022, Hyundai added another product to the N Line range, the Venue N Line. Hyundai India says it will bring in even more N Line models to the country. The Venue N Line is also the first SUV in its Indian N Line lineup. The 2022 Hyundai Venue N Line is the perfect choice for customers who want the practicality of an SUV as well as sporty driving dynamics.

2022 Hyundai Venue N Line – Variants, Pricing & Colour Options

Similar to the i20 N Line, the 2022 Hyundai Venue N Line is available in two variants – N6 & N8. However, unlike the N Line version of the i20 hatchback, there’s no iMT option. Thus, the only available option is a DCT gearbox.

Pricing for the 2022 Venue N Line starts at INR 12,16,000 ex-showroom for the base N6 variant. On the other hand, the top-end N8 variant of the Venue N Line costs INR 13,15,000 ex-showroom. Hyundai India mentioned these are introductory prices. Thus, there could be changes in the prices at a later stage.

Hyundai India offers the Venue N Line in a total of 5 colour options. This includes 2 monotone and 3 dual-tone colour options. The monotone options include – Polar White and Shadow Grey. Meanwhile, the dual-tone options include – Thunder Blue with Phantom Black Roof, Shadow Grey with Phantom Black Roof and Polar White with Phantom Black Roof. The dual-tone colour option adds INR 15,000 to the ex-showroom price of the Venue N Line.

2022 Hyundai Venue N Line – Exterior & Interior Highlights

The 2022 Venue N Line gets changes on the outside as well as on the inside. On the outside, it gets redesigned bumpers, skid plates, and Athletic Red highlights all over. The grille is also new and features a Dark Chrome finish. There are also N Line emblems on the front grille, side fenders and tailgate. On the sides, the Venue N Line gets new 16-inch alloy wheels and red-painted front brake callipers. At the back, it gets a new tailgate spoiler and a new twin tip muffler.

The black and red theme continues on the inside as well. The 2022 Venue N Line gets full leatherette seats and a new 3-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters. Other highlights include red ambient lighting, metal pedals and N Line branding on the seats. The 2022 Venue N Line also adds a segment-first Dashcam with Dual Camera.

2022 Hyundai Venue N Line – Technical Specifications

The 2022 Hyundai N Line uses the same 1-litre Kappa T-GDi turbo-petrol engine as few other Hyundais. Unlike the i20 N Line, the Venue N Line is only offered with a 7-speed DCT. The turbo-petrol mill churns out 120 PS of peak power at 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm of peak torque from 1,500 rpm all the way to 4,000 rpm. There are also 3 driving modes to choose from – Eco, Normal & Sport.

Hyundai has made a few changes to the Venue N Line compared to the standard Venue. The Venue N Line now gets rear disc brakes. Thus, adding to the braking performance. Additionally, Hyundai has also made changes to the steering, exhaust sound and suspension. The South Korean carmaker says the damping force is 34 per cent higher than the standard Hyundai Venue.
