Just to mention, the bookings for the SUV are open. Thus, interested customers can book their interest by visiting their nearest Hyundai showroom or via Hyundai’s website. There are a total of two trims on sale, namely, Platinum and Signature. With the new 2022 Tucson, Hyundai is targetting big in the SUV segment. With the high demand for SUVs in the country, we are sure the Tucson will find its takers.

Hyundai Tucson – Brief Overview

In terms of design, Hyundai Tucson benefits from the company’s new Parametric design. Thus, we get to see half-mirror type daytime running lights integrated into the grille and LED headlamps placed on the front bumper. On the rear, Tucson features a full-width LED light bar with triangular tail lamp clusters. Overall, the SUV carries an imposing personality with a taste for radical modern design. This will definitely grab the attention of the ever-evolving younger generation.

Powering the SUV is a 2.0-litre petrol engine that makes 154 BHP and 192 Nm. For the diesel heads, Hyundai will also offer a 2.0-litre diesel that makes 183 BHP and 416 Nm. The aforementioned petrol engine uses a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Meanwhile, the diesel engine gets an 8-speed automatic transmission. Thus, Hyundai will not offer a manual gearbox. Being a Hyundai, the updated Tucson gets a long features list. The most talked about feature is Hyundai’s ADAS kit for Tucson. With this, the SUV gets capabilities like forward collision warning, blind-spot assist, lane keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert and more. Therefore, Hyundai Tucson qualifies as a Level 2 ADAS vehicle with all the listed capabilities.

On the inside, occupants will appreciate the dual-tone interior. There are two big fat 10.25-inch screens on offer. One of them is for the infotainment system and the other for the digital instrument cluster.
