2022 Hyundai Creta SUV facelift revealed, Tucson inspired

Hyundai has introduced the new facelift model of the popular Creta SUV in the Indonesian market. According to the brand, the new Hyundai Creta facelift is “Made in Indonesia, for Indonesia.” But we suspect that the brand will soon launch the new facelift in India as well, owing to its popularity. The new Hyundai Creta facelift in Indonesia comes with the front fascia inspired by the latest-generation Tucson. A similar design is also seen on the new Hyundai Santa Cruz pick-up truck retailing in the North American market.

2022 Hyundai Creta Facelift – Design Highlights

The new Hyundai Creta facelift comes with the brand latest ‘Parametric Dynamics’ design philosophy. The front fascia comes with a ‘Parametric Jewel Design’ that offers ‘Parametric Hidden Lights’. The hidden lights feature consists of LED DRLs that integrate with the radiator grille and only show when lit. The grille features a wedge-like design with a dark finish and a chunky Hyundai badge in the centre. The car also comes with a silver element that mingles well with the air dam.

Hyundai offers trapezoidal wheel arches which fill up the wheel wells with diamond-cut alloy wheels and chunky tyres. Flanking the front bumper are a set of vertically stacked headlamps with black inserts. The silver theme continues to the side, integrating with the black side cladding. Hyundai also offers the car a black-out roof, pillars and mirrors. However, the facelift features the same progressive roofline and doors. On the rear, the taillamps get a mildly redesigned boomerang shape and a new boot lid.

2022 Hyundai Creta Facelift – Interiors and Features

The Hyundai Creta facelift comes with a dual-cockpit in interior design. The car features a four-spoke D-cut steering wheel with controls and a central touchscreen infotainment screen. The brand also offers a digital instruments cluster on the new Creta facelift. The brand also offers the new Creta with a panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats. Like all Hyundai cars, the feature list is expansive, and the vehicle comes with several safety features as well. These include six airbags, Forward Collision-avoidance Assist (FCA), Lane Following Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind-spot Collision-avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-traffic Collision-avoidance Assist, Hill-start Assist Control, and Rearview camera.
