2022 Honda Gold Wing & Rebel series get new colours

Written by AnantaSaranNayak

Honda has unveiled new colours for its range of products, including the Honda Gold Wing Range, CMX1100 Rebel, and CMX500 Rebel. We first start with the Gold Wing, Honda’s flagship product in the lineup.

Changes In Honda GL1800 Gold Wing Tour and GL1800 Gold Wing

As per reports, the manual GL1800 Gold Wing Tour will now have Gunmetal Black Metallic as a colour option. In addition to this, the colour will also have a ‘blacked out’ engine that will further enhance the outlook. Meanwhile, the DCT/Airbag version of the motorcycle will get a new Pearl Glare White and Glint Wave Blue Metallic paint options for 2022. The Gunmetal Metallic colour shade will also be included.

Along with colour updates, the GL1800 also gets some mechanical changes. The GL1800 is now more lightweight, all thanks to the double-wishbone front suspension, brand-new, and flat six-cylinder engine. In the tech department, the motorcycle gets a 7-inch TFT screen, gyrocompass navigation, Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™, electric screen, Smart Key operation, four riding modes, HSTC and Hill Start Assist. This makes it one of the most advanced motorcycles in the world. Starting from 2022, Honda Gold Wing will only come in 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission and in one contemporary paint option, i.e. Matte Jeans Blue Metallic.

What’s New For The CMX500 Rebel and CMX1100 Rebel?

Since its introduction in the European market, CMX500 Rebel is Honda’s best selling product. The tripped back, fat-tyred look, slim dimensions and low seat height do attract a healthy number of customers. To add to this, 33 per cent of the owners of this motorcycle are women, which is quite remarkable. There is also a Rebel S version that gets factory fitted headlight cowl, all-black fork covers and gaiters, plus diamond-stitch style seats. For 2022, Honda is introducing a new Pearl Organic Green colour. Furthermore, Honda CMX1100 will come with Pearl Stallion Brown colour along with Gunmetal Black Metallic in the lineup.
