Toyota could launch Urban Cruiser Hyryder variant soon

Written by Akhil Dalvi

Japanese automotive giant, Toyota has filed a trademark for its ‘Urban Cruiser Hyryder’ nametag in India. Since the Toyota Urban Cruiser is a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, the Hyryder variant could be the crossover’s new variant. The new variant is likely to make its debut in 2022. Meanwhile, a cosmetic refresh on the interior and exterior of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is also expected.

Based on leaked spy images, the upcoming Vitara Brezza sports a redesigned front fascia with a slim front grille and revised headlamps. Reports also suggest that the 2022 Vitara Brezza will feature a larger touchscreen infotainment system, connected car tech, and six airbags. The same could be applied to the Urban Cruiser Hyryder when the car launches under the Toyota badge.
