2022 Honda City e:HEV launched in India at INR 19,49,900

Honda Cars India Limited has launched the new City e:HEV. The City e:HEV features a new hybrid powertrain. The efficient two-motor strong hybrid electric system offers more performance and better fuel efficiency. Here are all the details and prices.

2022 Honda City e:HEV – Price, Variants and Colours

The new Honda City e:HEV will come with a sticker price of INR 19,49,900 ex-showroom. The City e:HEV will only be available in a fully-loaded ZX trim. The car will come in four metallic and one pearl colour option. The colour options are – Radiant Red Metallic, Meteroid Grey Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic and Golden Brown Metallic.

2022 Honda City e:HEV – Exterior Highlights

The new Honda City e:HEV features multiple new design elements. These new design elements help it differentiate from the regular Honda City. At the front, the new design elements include Claw-type fog light garnishes and the new Honda Solid Wing face. The side of the car remains identical but gets new 16-inch black-painted diamond-cut alloy wheels. The rear of the car gets a new rear bumper and a trunk lip spoiler. Additionally, the new rear bumper also gets a diffuser with a carbon-fibre finish. Another unique detail is the new signature blue H-mark logo at the front and back. 

The car continues to use the same full-LED headlights. The LED headlights feature a 9-array inline shell, integrated LED DRL, and an L-shaped LED turn signal. The rear also uses the same Z-shaped 3D wraparound LED taillight.

2022 Honda City e:HEV – Interior Highlights

The hybrid Honda City gets a new two-tone Ivory and Black interior theme. The City:HEV also features a new Electric Parking Brake (EPB) with Auto Brake Hold. The EPB engages the parking brake with a single switch, replacing the standard parking brake. This also makes utilization of the centre console space better than before.

In addition to this, the City e:HEV also gets a new 7-inch HD full-colour TFT instrument meter. The new meter displays information like e:HEV power flow meters, Honda Sensing support, various alerts and warnings and more.
