2022 Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports launched in India at INR 16,01,500

Honda has announced the launch of the new 2022 Africa Twin Adventure Sports in the Indian market. Honda has revealed that the new Africa Twin Adventure Sports will be exclusively sold through Honda’s Big Wing Topline showroom. The motorcycle will be available on Indian soil through the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route. The Africa Twin made its debut in the Indian market back in 2017 and has defined new pinnacles for adventure riding, allowing enthusiasts to explore the unknown. Honda has also revealed that the bookings for the 2022 Africa Twin Adventure Sports are now open across all Honda Big Wing Topline showrooms.

2022 Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports – Price, Colour, Variants and Availability

The brand has announced the Africa Twin Adventure Sports in two variants – Manual and DCT Automatic. The Africa Twin Adventure Sports in the Manual transmission option is available in Pearl Glare White Tricolour and comes with a price tag of INR 16,01,500 ex-showroom. The DCT Automatic transmission option comes with a Matte Ballistic Black Metallic colour option with a price tag of INR 17,55,500 ex-showroom. The Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports will be available from BigWing Topline dealerships in Gurugram (Haryana), Mumbai (Maharashtra), Bengaluru (Karnataka) Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Kochi (Kerala), Hyderabad (Telangana) and Chennai (Tamil Nadu).

2022 Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports – Top Features 

The Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports comes with features such as rally styled positive LCD colour display. The bike also gets Apple CarPlay (for iOS users) and the newly added Android Auto. The ADV also comes with electronic features such as a six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), 2-Channel ABS, HSTC (Honda Selectable Torque Control) and Bluetooth Connectivity feature.

The brand also reveals that both manual transmission and DCT variants get four default riding mode settings – Tour, Urban, Gravel and Off-Road mode to cover most riding conditions, plus two customizable User 1 & 2 settings. The Africa Twin Adventure Sports also comes with dual LED headlights with Daytime Running Lights (DRL) and Cornering Lights. 

2022 Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports – Powertrain

Powering the Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports is a 1082.96cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke 8-valve parallel-twin engine. The OHC engine produces 98 Hp of power and 103 Nm of torque. The bike also comes with telescopic front suspension and Pro-Link rear suspension. The motorcycle gets a semi-double-cradle steel frame and a 24.5-litre fuel tank.
