This motorcycle falls in the category of Grand American Touring. This particular segment takes the riders beyond the horizon with comfort and convenience. Aimed towards making motorcycle riding much more enjoyable and spectacular, Harley Davidson has started a cross-country experience. All the models under this segment get the Milwaukee-Eight V-Twin engine. To enhance the riding experience, Harley Davidson is using Emulsion-technology rear shock absorbers. On the front is a 49mm Dual Bending valve. This makes use of a single knob to hydraulically adjust pre-load for optimal ride and control.
Braking power comes from Brembo setup with dual-channel ABS as standard. In terms of rider aids, the motorcycle gets a host of options. This includes Electronically Linked Brakes, Cornering-ABS, Cornering-Traction Control with standard and rain mode, Drag Torque Slip Control, Vehicle Hold Control, and Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPMS). Road Glide Special gets this aerodynamic shark-nose fairing. This makes the motorcycle look so much aggressive and striking.
The black or chrome inserts enhance the overall outlook of the motorcycle for a whole new level. Key highlights of the motorcycles are dual Daymaker LED headlamps, Boom Box GTS infotainment system with 2 speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, USB, Prodigy custom wheels and Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine and more. The performance figure of the motorcycle stands at 93 HP and 158 Nm. The exhaust setup is a 2-1-2 dual setup with tapered mufflers.
