Harley Davidson has announced the launch of some of its 2022 motorcycle lineup. The customers wanting to get one of these latest models won’t have to wait any longer. The motorcycle maker mentioned that these new models would soon hit showrooms across the world. Furthermore, some of the limited edition models of 2022 will be unveiled later this month. Customers will get to see these limited-edition models from Harley-Davidson Custom Vehicle Operations at the ‘Further. Faster’ World Premiere Event. What Is Harley Davidson Iron 883?

This motorcycle is a part of Harley Davidson’s cruiser segment. Cruiser motorcycle aims to disconnect the rider from an increasingly hectic life. Harley Davidson is one of the pioneers in cruiser motorcycles that offer a plethora of options. And one of the most sought after products in the lineup is the Iron 883. This particular motorcycle made its mark in India back in April 2020 with its updated BS6 engine. Iron 883 sticks to the basics and gets a pretty simple and elegant design.

The peanut-shaped fuel tank attenuates the overall outlook of the motorcycle. This is an entry-level cruiser motorcycle that most draws the attention of veterans. For the 2022 model, Harley Davidson is making use of the black colour quite aggressively. For the 2022 update, the motorcycle is available with 3 colour options. These are Black Denim, Gunship Gray and White Sand Pearl.

Mechanicals And Powertrain

As evident from the name 883, the motorcycle gets an 883 cc V-twin engine. The performance figure stands at 70 Nm that comes in at 3,500 RPM. With this engine, Harley Davidson is providing a 5-speed gearbox unit. Based on a tubular steel frame, the chassis gets the support of conventional telescopic front forks and dual springs at the rear. Braking power comes from 300 mm discs at the front and 260 mm discs at the rear.
