Indian Motorcycle celebrated its 6-year partnership with Jack Daniel’s and Klock Werks by crafting the 2022 Indian Challenger Dark Horse Jack Daniel’s Edition. Based on the Indian Challenger, the motorcycle aims to pay homage to the brand’s Tennessee Rye whiskey. Under this collaboration, most of the motorcycles have been built by Klock Werks Kustom Cycles. Only 107 units of this edition will go on sale, making it one of the rarest motorcycles from the brand.
Indian Motorcycle has taken inspiration from the brand’s Tennessee Rye whiskey. And thus, the colour combination makes use of Rye Metallic paint with subtle gold and green accents. Thus matching it perfectly with the colours of Tennessee Rye whiskey. Upon close scrutiny, one can also find Jack Daniel’s Montana Silversmiths badges between the cylinders, as well as genuine leather. This custom-stitched seat wears the large Jack Daniel’s logo. All the 107 units will get a unique numbering 1 to 107 along with the corresponding co-branded bike mat.
Powering the motorcycle is the same 1,768cc PowerPlus engine. The performance output figure stands at 122 BHP and 178 Nm. Alongside powerful engine specifications, the motorcycle also comes with a host of tech and features. This includes LED Pathfinder headlight, a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) from Bosch, Fox electronic rear suspension, a hydraulically adjustable rear shock, Indian’s onboard Ride Comand infotainment system and more.
The 2022 Indian Challenger Dark Horse Jack Daniel’s Edition is the perfect cruiser motorcycle that gets all the gizmos. In addition to this, the motorcycle is very capable in terms of mechanicals as well. The partnership with Jack Daniel has been quite successful. But to mention, we, along with Indian Motorcycle, are nowhere promoting drinking and riding. The regular trim of the Challenger retails at USD 23,999, and we expect the special trim to come at a premium. However, the stock trim of the Challenger is on sale in India. But, it is highly unlikely that this special trim will make it to the Indian roads.
