TVS Motor Company has introduced Built to Order for its flagship Apache motorcycle, the Apache RR310. The TVS Apache RR310, under the Built to Order, comes with a Dynamic kit and a Race kit. Customers can also choose from three paint options with two alloy wheel colour choices and the option to add a personalised race number.
Customers can order the TVS Apache RR310 through the Built to Order. The Built to Order is available through a dedicated website as well as through mobile phone applications. The apps are available on both Apple Appstore and Andriod Playstore. Through the Built to Order, customers can view the Apache RR310 in 360-degrees. Customers can also use the Augmented Reality function to view the motorcycle. The application also allows the customers to load the specially curated kits on the bike and check the price online—the bike’s ex-showroom price with and with or without the kits.
TVS has meticulously crafted the Race Kit to enable a highly aggressive stance and racing ergonomics. The handlebar has been lowered and tucked by 117.1-degrees enabling higher straight-line speeds. The footpegs have also been moved up by 30mm, enhancing cornering agility and ground clearance. TVS has put a sticker price of INR 5,000 on the Race Kit.
The Dynamic Kit includes an adjustable front suspension that allows multiple levels of preload adjustability. This helps the rider on both the track and on the road. The Dynamic Kit also comes with a brass coated chain kit that provides a higher level of rust resistance. The Kit also gives the rider the option of choosing a special race edition graphic on the motorcycle. The Dynamic Kit comes with a price tag of INR 12,000. The Race Replica Graphics come with a price tag of INR 4,500. The Red alloy wheels also come with a price tag of INR 1,500.
Powering the Apache RR310 is a liquid-cooled 312.2cc reverse inclined single-cylinder motor. The four-stroke, four-valve, DOHC engine comes with a Bosch – Closed Loop RT-Fi electronic fuel injection system. The engine also comes with a dynamically controlled integrated high energy ignition system and electronic throttle control with multiple ride modes. In Track & Sport mode, the bike delivers the entire 34 PS of power and 27.3 Nm of torque. In Urban & Rain mode, the bike delivers 25.8 PS of power and 25 Nm of torque. The race-tuned engine features a 6-speed gearbox with a 7-plate RT slipper clutch. TVS claims that the motorcycle can achieve a top speed of 160 kmph.
Customers also have the option to purchase both kits together at the price of INR 17,000. The fully loaded Apache RR310 comes with a price tag of INR 2,81,490 ex-showroom. The Race Replica Graphics come with a price tag of INR 4,500. The Red alloy wheels also come with a price tag of INR 1,500.
