2021 Suzuki GSX-R1000R & GSX-S750 revealed in new colours

Suzuki has lifted the covers off its 2021 product line-up in the American market. The brand has unveiled the 2021 Suzuki GSX-R1000R & GSX-S750 which now come with new colour options. The overall shape and size, as well as the equipment, remains the same and Suzuki has just given the new 2021 models a new paint livery. The price of the new model hasn’t gone up substantially also and a change of only about USD 50 from the predecessor can be observed. 

For 2021, the flagship supersport Suzuki GSX-R1000R is offered in two new liveries – Metallic Matte Paint base with Red accents and Black on Black graphics with Gold painted alloy wheels. In the US the GSX-R1000R is priced at USD 17,749 MSRP. The Suzuki GSX-R1000R is powered by a 999.8cc in-line four-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine with electronic fuel injection and Ride-by-Wire throttle that produces 202 PS of power and 118 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. 

The 2021 GSX-S750z also rejoins the product portfolio after being omitted in 2020. The new GSX-S750z is available in an ABS option as well. The 2021 GSX-S750z is priced at USD 8,499 MSRP and the 2021 GSX-S750z ABS is priced at USD 8,899 MSRP. The non-ABS version features a new Metallic Oort Gray and Glass Sparkle Black livery and the ABS features Pearl Brilliant White with Champion Yellow paint livery. The 2021 GSX-S750z is powered by a 749cc liquid-cooled in-line four-cylinder 4-stroke DOHC engine with SDTV fuel injection matched to a 6-speed gearbox. 

In the Indian market as well as the US, Suzuki launched the 2021 V-Strom 650XT ABS. In India, the adventure class motorcycle is priced at INR 8.84 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The new V-Strom 650XT ABS features a BS6 compliant engine and is offered in two colour options – Champion Yellow No. 2 and Pearl Glacier White. Powering the V-Strom 650XT ABS is a 645cc 90-degree V-Twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC motor that produces 70 BHP of power and 62 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox. 

Suzuki is also expected to launch the 2021 Suzuki GSX-R1000R & GSX-S750 in the Indian market with BS6 emission-compliant engines. As of now, no timelines on the launch is available and more details are expected to be revealed soon.
