Skoda is about the announce the prices on the fourth-generation Skoda Octavia in the Indian market. The very first Octavia rolled off the production line in Mlada Boleslav in January 1959. The nomenclature is derived from Eighth, which in Latin is known as OCTAVIA. The wordmark coincides with the brand’s eighth car in the line-up in its product portfolio.
In 1996, when Skoda Auto merged with the Volkswagen Group, the first generation Skoda Octavia was born. The Marque made its debut in the Indian market with the vehicle in 2001 with the First-Generation Octavia. The second-generation car debuted in 2006, setting new benchmarks by introducing the direct injection technology on petrol vehicles. Similarly, the third-generation model also set a new standard in functionality, practicality, and spaciousness. With the RS variant, the brand also offered unmatched performance along with the value in the segment.
